What is American Grant Association and how does it work?

American Grant Association (AGA) is a private grant research and support service. You choose a plan, tell us about your goals and eligibility in a short profile form, and we research federal, state, foundation and corporate grant opportunities that fit you. Subscribers receive curated grant information twice a month, with deadlines, eligibility requirements and links to official sources.

What types of grants do you cover?

Federal government grants, state programs, private foundation grants and corporate giving programs — including funding for education, small businesses, housing and home repair, healthcare, research, community projects and nonprofit organizations across all 50 states.

How much does it cost?

You can start free: an account with a grant tracker and weekly Grant Alerts (up to 3 verified matches) costs nothing. Paid plans are Plus $9/month ($84/year), Guided $29/month ($276/year) and Organization $59/month ($564/year). No setup or hidden fees, and you can cancel anytime.

Is a grant guaranteed?

No. Grant decisions are made by the funding organizations. Success depends on your eligibility, the quality of your application and competition. AGA provides research, matching and guidance to help you find and prepare for opportunities you are eligible for.

Are you a government agency?

No. AGA is an independent private service and is not affiliated with any federal, state or local government. Grants listed on government sites such as Grants.gov are free to search; our fee pays for personalized research, curation and guidance.

How is this different from searching free grant websites myself?

Free databases take significant time to search and filter. We do that research for you and send only opportunities relevant to your profile, including private foundation and corporate programs that are not listed on government sites.

How will I receive grant information?

Grant updates are delivered twice a month by your preferred method (email or phone, as selected on your sign-up form). Each update includes eligibility criteria, deadlines and direct links to official application pages.

How soon will I receive my first update?

New members typically receive their first personalized grant information within 3–5 business days after their profile is complete.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month and can be upgraded, downgraded or cancelled without long-term commitment. Contact support to make a change.

Who can use AGA?

U.S. individuals, students, small businesses, startups, nonprofits, schools and community groups seeking legitimate grant opportunities. Eligibility for each grant is set by its funder.

Do you write or submit applications for me?

Not by default. We provide research, matching, templates and guidance. We do not submit applications on your behalf unless explicitly stated in a specific service package, and we do not provide legal, financial or tax advice.

How do I contact support?

Email support@americangrantassociation.org or use the contact form. Support hours are Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM ET, and we aim to reply within one business day.
